I always assumed wizards just ignored science, because the fact that “magic” exists, can explain anything. But there are MuggleBorn wizards, ones who, until they were eleven, lived in the real world and learned science and things. Did they all just abandon that normal, muggle knowledge, like Harry did? It’s always been there, itching in the back of my mind.

So this is the little girl who lives across the street from me, she is literally the cutest thing ever. She calls me over as I got out of my car and screams “hello there emmmmmy.” If any of you know me then you know I HATE when people call me that but I let her because just look at her. Anyways, she start going on and on about school and what she loves to do, and that today her an her mommy are planting flowers and all her daily activities. Then she continues to ask me a million questions. She asked me why I go to college and if I ever hang out with girls at my school, I said yes. She told me how the boys were making fun of her at school for always holding her friend emma’s hand. I told her boys are silly at a young age. She told me that she didn’t mind, she was not embarrassed to hold hands with a girl because there is nothing wrong with that. I quote, she said “girls can love girls, and boys can love boys. its not a big deal.” I can’t even get over how a four year old, a damn four year old can get over the fact of sexuality and how it doesn’t matter or define who someone is.

I seriously love how kids understand things and accept things so much easier than adults because they have not been taught to conform and follow social norms.
